‘Europe Peace or Famine - Which’, by Joseph Southall
1917
The Edgbaston Quaker artist Joseph Southall contributed occasional prints to Sylvia Pankhurst's anti-war suffragette broadsheet 'The Woman's Dreadnought'; the paper later became the 'Workers' Dreadnought' and was adopted as the official weekly organ of the Communist Party (British Section of the Third International).
