Description:These flannel tennis trousers were probably worn by Alderman Wilfred Byng Kenrick. The Edgbaston Archery and Lawn Tennis Society declared in 1879 that ‘each Member (Gentleman) playing Tennis shall wear a distinctive costume of Dark Blue and White Flannel'.
