Date:1900 - 1950 (c.)

Description:Cadbury produced a variety of checks and tokens issued to their employees. Some tokens like this laundry check encouraged employees to use in-house services, whilst others were used to monitor the workforce and tools. Hygiene standards at the Bournville Works were very high, and employees were expected to keep their uniforms clean and in good repair.
