Description:This emblem spread across suburban tram routes, particularly from 1911. In June the city took over services of the City of Birmingham Tramways Company on the Bristol and Pershore Roads. This action was on behalf of Birmingham and Kings Norton & Northfield councils who merged with four others in November into ‘Greater Birmingham’.<sup><small>1</small></sup>
