Description:The National Union of Shop Distributive and Allied Workers recruited from the TASCoS workforce and the branch dinner, which this menu refers to, was held directly across the road from TASCoS’ central premises. TASCoS prided itself on being a fair employer, being the first trader in south Birmingham to introduce early closing (in the 1870s).
