Description:In 1974, a house at 16 Selly Wick Road, just down the road from an existing children’s home, Brooklands, was adapted to be a home for six children with learning disabilities.
This appears to have been very short-lived as there is no record of it as a children’s home in 1979.
Since closing, the building has been demolished and a new building erected in its place.
