Description:Handsworth from the Inside Woman walking along Soho Road, passing the corners of Grove Lane and Ninevah Avenue. Soho Road is a prominent location for Birmingham’s black and Asian communities around Handsworth. A central shopping area, and often a location involved in marches, processions, celebrations, as well as simply socially, Soho Road has featured as a setting for many images and scenes captured by Vanley Burke over the decades.
