This entertainment centre for the West Midlands gay and lesbian community is rapidly becoming a rival to Old Compton Street in London and Canal Street in Manchester. The area hosts a wide range of pubs and bars catering to all tastes, including Angels, Boots Bar, The Fox, The Fountain, The Jester, The Village Inn, The Wellington and The White Swan, and dedicated clubs - Kudos, DV8, Subway City, and The Nightingale.
